Kids' ministry

Orcas Island Community Church loves the ones Jesus loves

and Jesus had a special care and compassion for kids.

Our Kids' Ministry strives to create safe, fun environments where children can be introduced to Jesus' love for them, and grow and mature to reach their full potential in relationships with God and their community.

    JULY 10-13 9AM-12PM

Searching the visible, discovering the invisible.

Turn your kids into Galactic Starveyors! As kids focus their telescopes on the marvels painted in the sky by the Creator, they will discover the wonder among all wonders - that the God who created everything there is - the knowable and the unknowable, the visible and the invisible - wants a personal relationship with them!

Colossians 1:15-16: The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

holds a four-day Vacation Bible School program every summer in July.

All of our kids ministry staff are required to undergo a Washington State Patrol background check after a waiting period of one year. This is followed by a period of supervised work in our programs.
