women's ministry

Our mission is to lovingly serve God and the women of this church and community by praying, learning together, enjoying, caring for and serving one another. With Scripture as our guide, we desire to become more Christ-like. We seek to enable each woman to be known and loved and fulfilled in her calling as an individual, family member, and friend.

The Women's Ministry team organizes a great many activities throughout the year. There are Bible studies, times of fellowship and learning, and times just to relax and enjoy time together, such as the annual Women's Luncheon and "Soul Saturday." Our weekly Morning Break, held from September through May, is a regular meeting place for the women of OICC. Other meetings and small groups are held throughout the week.

  • Annual Spring Luncheon

  • Morning Break

    Tuesdays 9:15-11:30am

Ladies gather together at Morning Break for fellowship and to study together as we seek to strengthen our faith. From 9:15 to 10:00 am we have social time in the Fellowship Hall, where we share coffee/tea and conversation. Occasionally we have a brunch with special themes, or provide a guest speaker with an opportunity to share a topic of interest or a Season of Life.  After this fellowship time, ladies attend their chosen classes from 10 to 11:30 am.

  • Rosa's Bible Study

    Tuesdays 10:00-11:30am

Rosa’s Bible Study: Year-round on Tuesday mornings at 10 am.

No books to buy - just bring your Bible and a pen or pencil! Rosa Montgomery designed this class at least 30 years ago for people who wanted to learn more about the books of the Bible. Class meets in the Sanctuary overflow room. Men and women welcome.
