Recognizing that prayer is a privilege, a command, and an essential ministry in the church, the Prayer Ministry will increase the understanding of, dependence on and actual practice of prayer, and related spiritual disciplines (fasting, silence, historical prayer practices, solitude etc) amongst the worshipers at Orcas Island Community Church.


INSTRUCTIONS


  1. Click the "Share Your Prayer Request" button below.
  2. Fill out appropriate information.
  3. Select a sharing level...
    1. "Share This" will share the request on the wall along with your name.
    2. "Share This Anonymously" will share the request on the wall without your name.
    3. "DO NOT Share This" will submit the prayer request to our Prayer Team ONLY.
  4. Check the "Email Me..." box if you'd like to be notified when someone prays for your request. Don't worry, this is the only thing this email address will be used for.
  5. Click the "Submit Request" button at the bottom of the form to submit your request for approval.

After praying for a request, hit the "I Prayed For This" button!

David Hance asks for prayer for his mom, she had a severe stroke a week ago and is in the hospital still. He is there with her. Prayers for healing in her body physically, and prayers for David as he travels to see her and for him and his family as they navigate life after a stroke.

Praying for Alicia’s mom, Alicia, and family during this difficult time in their lives. Praying that Alicia receives God’s grace to help her through this and she, James, Gabby, and Maddie have safe travels back home to Orcas.

Prayer for Teresa Boucher and Rick Please pray for Teresa for her surgery tomorrow to go well and with no complications. Pray for no pain and a swift recovery and healing. Pray for Rick to be able to comfort Teresa and also be able to take good care of himself during this difficult period of their lives. It will take approximately six weeks for a successful recovery after surgery so anyone willing to provide a home cooked meal I am sure would be appreciated, just a reminder that Teresa has to adhere to a gluten free diet, so please keep this in mind if planning a meal in the coming weeks of her recovery. Thank you for your prayers and generosity in the coming weeks.

Please pray for Marion Gerard’s son Steve. He is headed to the hospital with a possible detached retina. They just flew down to Arizona today. Prayer foe Steve, the family, his medical team and for the Lord to be real and personal in his life.

Praying for my parents as they are going to a new place to live. This is very difficult for all of us. Please pray for my moms health. I saw her for the first time today since October and she looks so skinny and so sad and so sick. Thank you- Alicia
